Since 2017, we have been captivated by the endless possibilities of foiling. No matter your age or previous experience on the water, this sport can completely change your perspective. If you're in the Swansea area, come visit us and talk to our resident foil expert, Matt.
Matts story started with skim boarding which morphed into surfing which then transitioned to Kitesurfing then eyes opened to SUP and all its competitive disciplines (3yr back to back British SUP surf champion ) which evolved into the challenge of foiling in 2017.
At our shop, we cater to both experienced foilers and beginners alike.
You can also enjoy a coffee at our in-store café, Ground. If you're not local, feel free to contact us with any questions you may have.
We offer lessons in: Surf foil - SUP foil - Wing foil - Wing SUP - Downwind foil & E-foil with Takuma and FoilDrive Gen 2 Max & slim.
Our Playground on the Gower peninsula and Swansea Bay has lots of foiling options , from pump foil spots to surf & SUP foil chip ins to 'accessible' or 'send it' Downwind runs.
Your choice of Hydrofoil or board will depend on:
What board you want to mount it onto (SUP foil board, Surf foil board, Kite foil board, Wing foil board)
Your weight.
Intended usage.
Beginners in foiling will want a low speed lift hydrofoil, whereas experienced flyer may want a faster hydrofoil front wing or more nimble rear stabiliser, whatever level you are at we can help you. Our extensive range will give you plenty to pick from, whatever your requirements. We are more than happy to help with this decision. In addition, we offer lessons and experiences in Swansea. Our lessons are 1-2-1 or 1-2-2 offering you a unique and personal structure to learning, beginning with an introduction to the kit, to body positioning, turning, and speed handling. All equipment will be provided. Operated by Cor Watersports. Our instructors are fully insured and have years of experience.
